C25k update!

I wanted to give everyone an update on my running. I am so far on Week 5, Day 2 of the program. Tonight I had to do 8 minute runs. I actually felt pretty good and it wasn't that hard for me. On day 3 this week I have to do a 20 minute run though and I am nervous about that! Hopefully it won't be too bad. I really enjoy running so far and seeing more of our neighborhood and the lake. Oh and I have lost 5 pounds! I have been having a little bit of shin pain but my running friends say I need to stretch my calves more. My mom and I are going to run a 5k on July 4th! It has been too hot for Tristan to go with me lately so I have been taking Maggie. She needs the exercise!

Congrats on the running! I guess it's time for me to get going on some kind of workout program. I can't deny the extra 20 lbs anymore! About your comment on the sling. We do have one. A really expensive one we got at Simply Mom's at Baylor but it is too small. So we never use it. I am going to look into the Moby sling. I go back to work next week and Matt will be with her those 3 nights. I know he is starting to get scared! Thanks for the advice and congrats on your running!!!! Miss ya!

That's awesome! The one thing to remember about running is that it doesn't matter how fast you go, so don't worry about the 20 minutes. You'll do great!

great job! i've been in a slump :-( i've repeated week 8 for the past 2 weeks!! i need to hurry up and finish!
