Tristan has decided that he doesn't mind the bath tub so much and has started enjoying it (as long as it doesn't last too long!). He likes to stare at himself in the mirror.

Tristan's fifth week

Tristan's fifth week was pretty exciting! First we went to a Christmas party at my office. We had a lot of fun visiting with my friends. While I was at the hospital I went up and weighed him and he weighed 8lbs and 10oz! That means he has gained 3lbs in 5 weeks. He is a very healthy eater! We spent Christmas eve with my family and Tristan got lots of toys! My family is definitely spoiling him already!! =P On Christmas morning Santa came and brought him some more toys. He was pretty unimpressed with the whole thing. The best thing about Christmas day was Tristan smiled a real smile for the first time! He did it several times that day. It was so cute and we can't wait until they are more frequent. Then we spent the day after Christmas with Shannon's family. We had a lot of fun playing with the kids' new toy.. Rock Band. We can't believe that Tristan is six weeks old now!

Tristan is one month old now! Time is flying by.

Christmas with the extended family...

This weekend we did Christmas with my Aunt and Uncle and family. Here are a few pictures from the day...

Tristan's pedi visit

Tristan went back to the pediatrician yesterday to follow up on hips. The doctor thought his hips felt stable now so that is great news! We are glad he won't need further testing or have to wear a harness. He has gained a lot of weight and now weighs 7lbs and 7oz. That means he almost gained 2 pounds in three weeks. The doctor was very impressed with this. (Of course, i know that he is a good eater!). I also purchased a Moby wrap and have enjoyed carrying Tristan around in it. He really likes it so far and he fell right to sleep in it. It has a little bit of a learning curve but i think i am getting it down. We have some family coming in for an early Christmas this weekend so I will post more pictures after that.

Three weeks old!

Tristan is three weeks old now and is growing! We have to go to the pediatrician tomorrow so I will post his weight on here tomorrow. We are pretty sure he is over 7 pounds now though. He is doing great. He is very expressive when he is awake. He is also staying awake longer throughout the day. We think he is so adorable!
