Weekend Trip

We went to visit Shannon's parents house this weekend. They live about 3 1/2 hours away on Lake Murvaul. It is so beautiful in East Texas! We were celebrating Mother's Day a little early. We had so much fun spending time with family. Tristan loves his Nana and Papa! Tristan did not sleep very well while we were there. I guess I should have had a few practice nights with the pack n play instead of just springing it on him. The first night he slept until about midnight and then we tried and tried to get him to go back to sleep in there. I tried everything and he wasn't having it. We finally gave in and let him sleep on one of us in the recliner. The next night he slept in it until about 10pm! Yikes. I ended up letting him sleep next to me in the bed (i removed all the sheets and pillows) and Shannon got bumped to the recliner by himself. Needless to say it was not a very restful weekend! haha. I hope that he gets back on schedule now that we are home but I am sure it will be a rough couple of nights! We probably won't be going on another trip for awhile! ha!
