I have started this program called C25k. For those of you who have not heard of it it is basically an integral training program of walking and running. It slowly goes up in intensity over 9 weeks. By the end of 9 weeks you should be able to run a 5k (about 3 miles). I have the application om my
iphone so it tells me automatically when to walk and when to run (while my music plays in the background). After I am done with each part it uploads to my
facebook page so I have some accountability. I don't know if I will ever really be a "runner" but I thought it might help get the extra few pounds off. Who knows maybe I will learn to love it. I already walk 3 miles anyways so the walking part is easy so far but the first day i went I had the travel system stroller and it was quite heavy and hard to push. I decided if I was ever going to be good at it I needed a jogging stroller. I ended up getting this one below at Babies R Us. It was the floor model so they gave it to me for 25% off. I really wanted one with an optional swivel wheel (for the winding trail by the lake) and with bike tires because they move so much better than rubber tires. The swivel wheel can be locked or unlocked from the handlebars. This one also has a built in tire pump and a
reclining seat. I can't wait to start using it tomorrow.

These are my new running shoes! I went to Run On and got them fitted for me.

Tristan really liked trying it out in the house. I think he thought it was pretty comfy.

You will be so glad you got that - it is so much fun and much easier. Emory loves her jogging stroller. Good luck!
