It's a Texas Tradition Ya'll!

When I was younger my least favorite thing to hear was "Lets go take some pictures with the bluebonnets". We would load up in the car, drive two hours, get out and pose in the scorching sun with bugs. I hated it. Ok, maybe that is just a bit dramatic but it definitely wasn't my favorite thing to do. Well now it has come full circle because I went and took a bunch of pictures of Tristan with the bluebonnets today. What can I say; it’s a Texas tradition! Haha. It was a bit of a fiasco though because I got all the way over there, got him posed, took about 30 shots and I was thinking wow these are going to be so good! Well then I looked down and my camera said, "No memory card inserted". Ugh.. Lets just say I am glad Tristan doesn't repeat words yet. Haha. Luckily, I had my pocket digital camera with me. It doesn't do as well as my SLR camera but at least I didn't walk away empty handed. And with a little photoshop you can't tell too much difference. I might go back and get some more when I have my moms help because I needed an extra set of hands and someone to hold a shade. I thought some of them turned out pretty cute though.

and we are done...

Seriously - I can't believe you got those all by yourself! And without your SLR - they turned out great. I think he and Emory do have matching rolls ... :) Also loving his jeans - there's nothing cuter than a baby in jeans!
