This weekend was crazy busy! We decided our fence really needed to be replaced so we thought we could knock it all out in one weekend. On Friday I took off of work and Shannon, Travis, and I worked on removing the old posts and putting in new metal ones. This was harder than you would think because the old posts were wood and most of them were rotted. Most of them broke off in the ground while we were trying to remove them so we had to dig around them to get them out. What a pain. The guys worked all day and they were exhausted. On Saturday my brother in law John came over and helped Shannon. I helped some too while my mom watched Tristan and we got almost all the cross beams in. That was a lot harder than we imagined too because we have some curves and turns in our fence. So needless to say our one weekend project turned into a two weekend project and we will be finishing it this weekend. The small section we did get done though looks great. I will post some pictures next weekend when we finish it.
Tristan had a fun weekend visiting with his Mimi, Grandaddy, Nanaw, Gram, Aunt DeAnna, Uncle John, and cousin Todd. He is so lucky to have so many people that love him. And we are so lucky to have so many people eager to watch him! haha. Our neighbors even offer to watch him all the time. Oh and he has been sleeping from 7:30pm to 6 am! Woo hoo! That is so nice! He seems to be teething now and he is always chewing on a finger. Here are a few pictures of him from this weekend.

Ahhh, sleep is a beautiful thing! And a few hours of "me" time before bed is nice. Good luck with the fence! We need a new one too - can't wait to see how it turns out.
